Population 450,000 (1997). Population total both countries 450,000.
Region Central Timor corridor from the north to the south coasts, east of Atoni, west of Bunak (in Batagude) around Batibo and in from the south coast around Viqueque and Soibada. Also spoken in Timor Lorosae.
